Jacques Bajon
Principal Analyst Media & Entertainment
With 20 years of experience, Jacques is a recognized expert in media economics and the impact of the Internet on content. His work primarily focuses on sectoral, economic, and strategic studies in the field of media and digital content (TV, video, video games, music). He also monitors emerging audiovisual ecosystems and the evolution of industry players’ strategies (digital platform services, telecoms). He works with both private companies and public operators, in France and internationally.
Furthermore, the distribution of digital information and entertainment services is a key area of his work, realized through studies for solution providers, infrastructure operators, or the European Commission's DG Connect. The connected TV environment falls within this scope.
Jacques is also responsible for the Media programme within IDATE’s Market Intelligence activity. The reports include two global observatories (video streaming services and TV services) as well as thematic reports. In addition, Jacques teaches audiovisual economics at Sciences Po Toulouse.
He holds a Master’s degree in International Economics (Université Paris X) and a Master’s in Innovation Management (Toulouse School of Management).
